SURGERY POLICY

ZERO TOLERANCE

The surgery is committed to caring for the health and safety of staff. Violent or abusive behaviour towards staff will not be tolerated; we reserve the right to request that patients be removed from our list for displaying such behaviour. We will warn you orally, or if this is not possible, due to the possibility of further threatening behaviour, in writing before we take steps to remove you from the list.

CANCELLATIONS

It is the patient's responsibility to cancel an appointment with at least 24 hours notice if unable to attend or appointment no longer required.

HOME VISITS

Home visits can be requested via the receptionist if patients are housebound due to illness NOT due to lack of transport, a doctor may telephone you prior to the visit.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

We endeavour to give you the best service possible at all times, but there may be occasions when you feel you wish to express dissatisfaction. We offer a Practice Complaints Procedure to deal with your concerns. We hope you will use it to give us the opportunity of looking into, and if necessary correcting any problems that may have arisen or mistakes that have been made. Using the procedure does not effect your right to complain to the Health Authority if you so wish.
