Thank you for stopping by my homepage. My name is Dean West and this website has been designed specifically to demonstrate my abilities as a junior web designer and also as an artist. I am looking to begin a career in IT, working in 'Front End' Web Design. As you will see by my website, I am naturally creative and although this website is not yet fully completed, I hope it gives you a flavour of what i'm capable of achieving.
As well as commencing a home learning college course in Dreamweaver & Flash CS3 in January 2008, I have used a recent redundancy package to re-train and have taken courses in HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Flash, Fireworks & Digital Photography which has extended my capablilities in a number of directions.
Currently, my knowledge of HTML, CSS, Flash & Fireworks using WYSIWYG programmes & hand coding is basic but is broadening daily. I have good knowledge of Photoshop and excellent knowledge of Digital Photography. I am extremely artistic, enthusiastic and willing to work hard to learn and develop my web building skills.
I am currently seeking employment within the field of web design, either as a Junior Web Designer or Web Assistant. I am specifically looking for employment which will provide me with the training environment I seek, and a position which will put my existing skills to good use. In return for offering me a position within your company, you will gain an extrememly motivated, enthusiastic member of staff with a proven success record, skilled in many aspects of management & health & safety.
